Job Title: Node.js Developer

Position Overview:

As a Node.js Developer at Marmeto, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side components of our web applications. You will work closely with frontend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to create robust and scalable backend solutions. Your role will involve writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, as well as optimizing application performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side components using Node.js.
  • Implement APIs and integrate with frontend components and third-party services.
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Develop unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Monitor and improve application performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services.

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
  • Proficiency in working with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs ) for the role :

  • Code Quality: Maintain a high standard of code quality, with minimal bugs and issues reported in production.
  • Performance Metrics: Ensure backend services meet performance benchmarks, including response times and throughput.
  • Delivery Timeliness: Deliver assigned tasks and projects within agreed timelines.
