Job Title: QA Engineer
Position Overview:
As a QA Engineer at Marmeto, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and web applications through comprehensive testing and validation. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, improve our testing processes, and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure the quality of the software.
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools such as JIRA or Monday
- Analyse test results to predict user behaviour, identify bugs and suggest solutions to minimise problems
- Work closely with product development and testing teams to ensure timely delivery of the project
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in manual testing
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs ) for the role :
- Production Issues: Number of defects found in production.
- Security Testing: Number of security vulnerabilities identified.
- Stakeholder Feedback: Number of escalations related to testing issues
- Process Improvement Initiatives: Number of process improvements identified and implemented
- Number of test cases executed per day
