Job Title: Process Excellence and Quality Control Manager
Position Overview:
The Process Excellence and Quality Control Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and optimizing operational processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role involves collaborating across teams to implement best practices, analyze performance metrics, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Process Excellence:
- Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of process improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
- Identify inefficiencies in workflows and recommend strategic solutions for process optimization.
- Conduct regular process audits and gap analyses to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by coaching and training teams in process excellence practices.
Quality Control:
- Establish and maintain quality control systems, policies, and procedures to ensure product/service excellence.
- Oversee quality assurance activities, including inspections, testing, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Analyze quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Manage internal and external quality audits and certification processes.
Performance Measurement & Reporting:
- Develop and monitor KPIs to assess process performance and operational quality.
- Prepare detailed reports on process efficiency, quality outcomes, and improvement initiatives for senior management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with departmental heads to align quality and process improvement goals with organizational strategies.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops to encourage innovation and best practices adoption.
Years of Experience- 3 - 4 year
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred
Certifications:
- Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in process improvement, quality management, or a related role.
- Proven track record of implementing successful quality and process optimization initiatives.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in process mapping tools, quality management software, and data analytics.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross- functional teams.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Role:
- Reduction in process cycle time.
- Improvements in quality metrics (e.g., defect rate, compliance rate).
- Cost savings achieved through process optimizations.
- Successful completion of internal and external audits.
- Employee participation and engagement in continuous improvement initiatives.
