Your Role in the Bigger Picture: 

As a Finance Manager at Marmeto, you will be a key strategic partner to the leadership team, driving business growth through robust financial planning, cash flow management, compliance, and stakeholder collaboration. You’ll oversee the company’s financial operations end-to-end, ensuring financial health, discipline, and strategic alignment. This role calls for a proactive, detail-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with hands-on expertise in tools like Zoho Books and Razorpay.  

What You'll Own at Marmeto:

• Oversee daily financial operations, including billing, vendor payments, and reconciliations. 
• Ensure accurate financial records and drive timely month-end closures.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across departments.
• Prepare and present financial reports with strategic insights for leadership.
• Manage statutory compliance including GST, TDS, audits, and filings. 
• Liaise with external auditors and consultants to support audit and compliance processes.

What We're Looking for in You:

• Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  
• Certifications:  Any finance-based certification (CA Inter, CPA, CFA, CIMA, or similar) is preferred. 
  
  
• The Experience That Sets You Apart: 
  
  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in finance roles, preferably in high-growth or digital businesses.  
  • Proven experience managing business finance, cash flow, stakeholder engagement, and compliance. 
  • Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Razorpay is mandatory. 
• Business Finance & Planning: 
  • Drive annual budgeting, business planning, and financial forecasting in collaboration with cross-functional teams. 
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models for various business scenarios. 
  • Partner with department heads to align financial goals with operational strategies
• Cash Flow & Treasury Management: 
  • Manage company cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements. 
  • Oversee payments, collections, and liquidity to ensure optimal financial health.
  • Implement cash flow forecasting models to preempt funding needs and risk.
• Stakeholder Management:
  
  • Provide regular financial updates and strategic insights to founders, department heads, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead financial planning meetings and serve as a finance business partner to key decision-makers.
• Compliance & Governance:
  •  Ensure full compliance with statutory obligations: GST, TDS, income tax, and ROC filings.
  • Oversee audit processes—internal and external—and liaise with auditors and consultants. 
    
  • Maintain and regularly update internal controls, policies, and SOPs.
• Operational Excellence:
  
  • Lead monthly/quarterly/annual closings and financial reporting.
  • Monitor and control financial transactions and reconciliations using Zoho Books and Razorpay. 
  • Optimize cost structures and identify opportunities for savings or efficiency.
• Your Subject Matter Expertise: 
  • Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Ability to manage regulatory compliance and internal controls independently.
  • Excellent command of Excel, Google Sheets, and finance automation tools. 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
